There are a few animated sex scenes throughout the game, and Act 3 (Chapter 19 onwards) will have animations for each sex scene. I'll be adding more animations to Acts 1 & 2 in the near future.
Not sure if it is intended or accidental, but the lesbian playthrough seems to be quite a bit more chaste than the bisexual/straight one? Seems to be much less exhibitionism, much less going commando, that sort of thing.
The first few chapters are indeed a bit light on lesbian sexual content, as this was significantly expanded later on thanks to player feedback. Later in Act 1 the lesbian and straight content becomes much more balanced, with a 50/50 split between the two.
I'll be improving the early-game experience in the future to include more lesbian content.

If you enter an open-relationship with one character, you can still pursue sexual and romantic content with others. There are also plans for a lesbian harem ending.
What makes this game awesome is that there is a female MC who has the same amount of agency as a male MC from another adult game. It's really refreshing. So keep up the great work, ionDivvy.

I assume I'm not the target audience for this game. Don't get me wrong, it's a well-made game! The visuals were excellent, and I really liked the exhibitionist opportunities that were presented. However, when it came to the sexual opportunities, I played this game like it was the 2023 edition of Virginity Protection Simulator, which is probably the wrong way to play it. I was holding out for something meaningful, trying to make sure the main character isn't just a cheap whore. I was a bit disappointed that #13 didn't offer me a way out at all (or, if a prior choice lead to that, I wish I'd have been warned that the choice leads to giving away her virginity so cheaply). But, I'm quite sure that I'm in the minority, and most people would have realized that the word Casual in the title should tell you this isn't about developing relationships. I don't know what made me think I'd have the option to keep the MC a virtuous woman. Probably delusion. I've only ever played erotic games with a male protagonist, and in those games I've played, almost all sexual encounters are dependent on a relationship first. This game is the first I've encountered where the choice for "This might be a bit of fun" turns into "put your dick in my virgin pussy please, stranger whose name I don't know," in less than a minute. I'm sure people love the game for that, but I'm not one of them. I only wish this design choice had been a bit more clear in the description; something like, "This isn't a dating simulator, and you aren't going to develop relationships with your sexual partners. This game is about increasingly wild, loose, and carefree casual sex, for the sake of sex alone. It's called Casual Desires for a reason."

Hi, Wanted to say I really enjoyed this visual novel. Like others have said so rare to find a story that can be erotic and titivating, but doesn't feel awfully demeaning to those involved. As a hopefully reasonably well adjusted human being its nice not to be stuck with a default protagonist that is a scumbag. So lots of thumbs up.
I did have one question about the future story. Unless this counts as critical spoilers in which case ignore. Is it set in stone that Violet stays with her boyfriend? I just honestly do not like him particularly. I have been mostly playing it as Violet refusing his attempts to make things more kinky, and it always feels like he is trying to subtly push against her boundaries. Not full on gaslighting, but something feels off.
I admit I just want Rita to steal all the girls away ;-) because she is such a darling cutey. Obviously, this is your story and I am only giving my personal reaction to the character. Thanks again for making an engaging story, and I am looking forward to coming back to it when there is more to read.

Rita will indeed be able to take Violet as her girlfriend (with Violet leaving her boyfriend as a result). At the end of the new chapter, Rita can decide whether or not she is interested in pursuing a relationship. If she is interested, Violet will be one such option for Rita to confess to.

The scene with Violet & her BF at the start is probably out of place... It feels like it belongs after we meet Violet.
I think Act 1 could use a narrator. Scenes begin and end abruptly and the transition is rough, but a narration might help to make things flow better. If possible the 'X days later' messages should probably be done as a transition scene. Like a calendar advancing through the days.
Some of the text tends suggest you've had sex with a guy "I have had sex before, so I've seen a cock before", which seems awkward if you selected having a lesbian sexual experience before.
In the pool locker room the game suggests 'Rita' has never enjoyed female attention before... But she slept with a female friend in HS.
In the kiss scene with Haruka it suggests Rita hasn't kissed another girl... But that's only true if she's a 'virgin'.
Violet and Rita don't seem to get much time together. This feels like a consistent problem. From when she is on the list for 'I want to have sex' to into Act 2. They really need to spend way more time together. Maybe it's because I chose the boys on the 'have sex' question, but it feels like Violet doesn't even get many scenes on her own anymore. She appears only slightly more than Sara in Act 2.
My only other note is that Luna's nipples often look weirdly placed on her bobs. They feel like the are high and to the outer side almost every time she's nude.
Also in general it often feels like there isn't a lot of girl talk going on... Maybe it's just women I know (& ones from certain TV shows), but when we get together we talk about sex. But it feels like these girls barely do. Heck Rita & Violet have never talked about the alley, but if a friend caught me doing that in an alley we'd definitely have a conversation about it. Especially if we had had sex.
Also of note the stats didn't update right when the guy at the hot springs took Rita's anal virginity. The 'Anal virgin' went away, but the 'anal sec count' says 0.
*Giggles* And that marks where version 0.16 ends. At least for one play through. 'Rita' feels super like me when I was that age, so I really enjoy the game. Though I may really want her to get super kinky and visit that 'bed of roses' society. But then in this run I pretty much teased and slept with everyone just for the fun of it.
The game is good, but the dialogue feels jarring and I finally realized why. The game mostly plays itself. For instance, Rita still flirts with her guy friends regardless of what you choose, the game defaults to guys for randoms on normal mode instead of letting you choose, and core story scenes are removed on LM as well. But all in all, time moves too fast so it feels like being dragged forward in the timeline instead of drifting along (the latter I'm assuming is what you're aimimg for). I feel like this could be partially averted by having a Menu with things like character profiles unlocked as you progess - that way at least it will feel more like a game than a movie.
I agree that the timeline (particularly in Act 1) can move by too quickly. There are also some instances where the story should better reflect player decisions, or otherwise allow more agency. Act 1 is generally the most problematic in this regard, and will be overhauled in a future update.
In terms of new features, character profiles (or an in-game wiki) are on the to-do list for the future. I'd also like to add bonus unlockable scenes, accessible through the main menu, which would help fill in the gaps for various points in the story that were referenced or not included. Adding some randomized sexual encounters would also help to make the experience more interactive.
Can you have a route to end up exclusively with violet and nick. I like the ones with just the other girls, but something about sharing another girl's guy is hot. Like a route with just them though and none of the other swinger stuff which is cool, just not my cup of tea. Just wondering if that was in the works or planned. If not ill be content with cute luna and haruka. Not really into guys too much anyway.
MFF scenes with Violet, Nick, and the protagonist are indeed something I've been planning to add into the game.
In the future, the swinging scenes from earlier chapters could also be expanded with an option to back out and invite the protagonist instead. This could then turn into a guy-sharing route like you suggested.

Would recommend you go with a black cursor, rather than a light blue one, light blue on a pink background is very hard to see, and there are many instances where you can't see the text choices either. Looking forward to the next update too! :)
One underrated thing that this game has is a organical passage of time, events are spread out between eachother by days/weeks and not every single moment of Rita's daylife is shown. I've seen a lot of H-games here where events happen all to close to eachother and characters will be making love confessions a week after meeting.
On another note, is there any plans of having a Gallery option to rewatch scenes without needing to reload?
A passage of time is definitely something I felt was important, as the relationships and the protagonist's (and friends) descent into depravity takes time to build towards.
As for an in-game Gallery menu, this is the most-requested feature at the moment, and will be the first to be implemented. I would estimate it will be ready 1-2 updates from now.
Hi I'm new to this game and I have a problem saving my game. Everytime I try, it says "An exception has occured". It gives me some option like going a bit back in the game or ignoring, but it still doesn't let me make a save. It says that there are no valid save locations. Hope someone can help!
Hello, and sorry to hear you've been having problems saving. This appears to be an issue for some users with Ren'py games, when there are insufficient permissions for the program.
Right-clicking and choosing to run as administrator, or putting the Casual Desires game files in a different folder appear to be the most common fixes. Let me know if either of these works for you!

I feel like this could be partially averted by having a Menu with things like character profiles unlocked as you progess - that way at least it will feel more like a game than a movie.

I agree that the timeline (particularly in Act 1) can move by too quickly. There are also some instances where the story should better reflect player decisions, or otherwise allow more agency. Act 1 is generally the most problematic in this regard, and will be overhauled in a future update.
In terms of new features, character profiles (or an in-game wiki) are on the to-do list for the future. I'd also like to add bonus unlockable scenes, accessible through the main menu, which would help fill in the gaps for various points in the story that were referenced or not included. Adding some randomized sexual encounters would also help to make the experience more interactive.
These are excellent ideas! The scenes menu would also be a good way to access scenes skipped in LM.
Can you have a route to end up exclusively with violet and nick. I like the ones with just the other girls, but something about sharing another girl's guy is hot. Like a route with just them though and none of the other swinger stuff which is cool, just not my cup of tea. Just wondering if that was in the works or planned. If not ill be content with cute luna and haruka. Not really into guys too much anyway.
MFF scenes with Violet, Nick, and the protagonist are indeed something I've been planning to add into the game.
In the future, the swinging scenes from earlier chapters could also be expanded with an option to back out and invite the protagonist instead. This could then turn into a guy-sharing route like you suggested.

I played one with a succubus and fairy on your shoulders and only you can see them. no trigger warning, no content warning nothing just a violent rape scene against your sister. ive never been more mad at any dev, most disgusting thing id seen in any game. There was no choices allowed and theres an option to try and save her and the game dev laughs and says nah. anyway enough ranting about the worst game ever made in history. You made a cool story and made each character interesting. Your game has a lot of potential, and i look forward to it in the future. :)
Would recommend you go with a black cursor, rather than a light blue one, light blue on a pink background is very hard to see, and there are many instances where you can't see the text choices either. Looking forward to the next update too! :)

One underrated thing that this game has is a organical passage of time, events are spread out between eachother by days/weeks and not every single moment of Rita's daylife is shown. I've seen a lot of H-games here where events happen all to close to eachother and characters will be making love confessions a week after meeting.
On another note, is there any plans of having a Gallery option to rewatch scenes without needing to reload?
A passage of time is definitely something I felt was important, as the relationships and the protagonist's (and friends) descent into depravity takes time to build towards.
As for an in-game Gallery menu, this is the most-requested feature at the moment, and will be the first to be implemented. I would estimate it will be ready 1-2 updates from now.

Hi I'm new to this game and I have a problem saving my game. Everytime I try, it says "An exception has occured". It gives me some option like going a bit back in the game or ignoring, but it still doesn't let me make a save. It says that there are no valid save locations. Hope someone can help!
Hello, and sorry to hear you've been having problems saving. This appears to be an issue for some users with Ren'py games, when there are insufficient permissions for the program.
Right-clicking and choosing to run as administrator, or putting the Casual Desires game files in a different folder appear to be the most common fixes. Let me know if either of these works for you!
